After a week of Aeropress coffee, I opened up, took apart and cleaned up a few key components of this old and much-loved espresso machine (I promise I polished it up afterwards, too). I think it still needs a descaling, but it seems to be pumping along once again. I’m so satisfied.

I’m really having a good time with Chained Echoes. This was the first pretty hard boss and I had to think about how to handle it, revising my tactics and leveling up my party a bit more before I successfully finished it off. This is a great Steam Deck game for kicking back on the sofa.

I got out downtown early yesterday morning for breakfast after my Friday workout. It was a beautiful, cold morning for a quick walk.

Our snow accumulation has gone from “lots” to “fairytale wintertime.”

Several more inches of snow fell overnight and the clearing morning sky is beautiful. But don’t be too disarmed: more snow is on the way!

This Iris is my first split and ortholinear keyboard, and I’m slowly, gradually getting used to typing on it. Getting back to work tomorrow will be interesting!

I did get out for a quick photo walk downtown yesterday before getting rained out. I liked this selfie I shot in the window of a brewpub and I’m really enjoying using my old 35mm Pentax lens on my X-T30 as I get more used to manual focus.
