I spent most of last week back in Flagstaff, my first trip there since we moved more than a year ago. I have so many thoughts and feelings about visiting that town — where I lived for nearly twenty years. I went for a lot of photo walks and revisited some favorite places, including this lovely corner that holds a lot of memories. Pizzicletta has expanded to a small empire but this original location is special (and next door to my favorite bike shop, too).

I have missed this pizza, the Amore oi Mari from pizzicleta.

I felt pretty good about this weekend’s pizza dough. GF crust is a little finicky, but I’m getting pretty okay at it.

Pizza tonight: Brussels sprouts and oyster mushrooms! This was a good one. My gluten-free toaster-oven crust continues to do All Right.

Don’t tell the ooni bros, but I made this gluten free pizza in my toaster oven and it turned out pretty great.

I experimented with some cast iron skillet pizza last night. Not bad!

Last night’s gluten free pizza was pretty good: Ham, spicy red peppers, chopped figs, and fresh basil.
