One more photo post today: A moment from a photo walk around town a couple of weekends ago. I really liked this bit of inside/outside downtown life on an early autumn day.

A ridge is backlit by late evening light, and whips yellow and orange clouds sit above it. In the foreground is a shadowed field of cut alfalfa.

We had another nice Ogden valley sunset, last night. It’s been hot here, and back in Flagstaff, too, but monsoon rains are forecast to cool down both of these hometowns this week.

A red barn sits at the far edge of a green field. In the distance is a set of rocky peaks with snow still on them.

A wet and cool spring means that there is still some snow on the peaks, but summer is now coming in hot, so it won’t last much longer.
