Oh gosh am I really crossing the streams this morning: Trying out the nvim org-mode plugin to tinker with my Journelly org file on the Mac desktop.
This great dive into emacs by Matt Gemmell starts as so many emacs stories do, with a mostly-stranger saying, “Have you heard of org-mode?”
I’m sending up the M-x-help signal, emacs friends. I’m using doom and vim mode: occasionally emacs gets stuck with s- as a prefix to anything I enter, and I can’t figure out how to exit that mode. Trying to enter a vi command results in emacs thinking I’m typing s-:, and it similarly wrecks emacs chords. It’s weird. If I try to just close the window, emacs puts up the close confirmation dialog, and I can’t even answer that because a y or n gets prefixed with s! shrug
